2. Start the Import Process

  • In the Design Manager, click More > Import

  • Browse to the folder or location where your design files are stored.

  • If your files are on a USB drive, use the uDisk tab to access them.

3. Choose the Correct File Format

  • Select the design file you want to import.

  • The software is compatible with a wide range of file formats.

  • Universal format such as DXF or XML are recommended because they can be exported from most CAD software.

4. Import Separate Design Layers if Needed

  • The example shows two separate files:

  • one for the strings

  • one for the tin/surface

  • Keeping them separate gives you more flexibility because you can toggle them on and off individually.

  • If both are combined into one file, that is also acceptable.

5. Import the First File

  • Select the first design file.

  • Click Import

  • Return to the map/project view to confirm the file appears in the design list.

6. Import the Surface File

  • Repeat the same process for the surface file:

  • go to Designs

  • select the surface file

  • click Import

  • Once imported, the surface will appear in the project as well.
